Chin people return to their homes, AA says
Villagers from Kin Ta Lin village in Chin State’s Paletwa Township have been sent back to their homes this morning, the Arakan Army announced.

Villagers from Kin Ta Lin village in Chin State’s Paletwa Township have been sent back to their homes this morning, the Arakan Army announced.
Villagers requested to return to their homes because they were not happy in the temporary living quarters during rainy season, the AA returned them back to Ohn Thee Wa village, the AA said, adding that the villagers were not under the AA’s assistance any more.
Chin CSOs has accused that the AA arrested 54 Chin people from Kin Ta Lin village since 2 February. Twelve of them fled from the AA’s custody on 26 June, the Chin CSOs said.
The AA, however, denied the accusation of the Chin CSOs and said in its statement that the AA had helped them on humanitarian grounds.
The AA also said that it would release detained people who were not related to military affairs when they were in a safe and secure location. The AA arrested some people during the skirmishes in Arakan State.
