Arakan State reports over 1,100 virus cases with 29 deaths

A total of 1,151 people in Arakan State were infected with coronavirus as of July 16, and 29 people statewide have died during the pandemic’s third wave, according to data compiled by the Arakan State-level State Administration Council.

Kyauktaw Twsp may face oxygen shortage as pandemic worsens

Eight of the Covid-19 patients in Kyauktaw Township, Arakan State, have been given supplemental oxygen and if the virus-infected population increases, local healthcare providers may find themselves facing a shortage of it, according to the township Department of Public Health (DPH).
