Chin Brotherhood congratulates MNDAA on capture of Northeastern Command

The Chin Brotherhood vowed to work together with all the anti-regime groups across the country in fighting for a federal, democratic Union with self-determination, justice, mutual respect and equality.

The Chin Brotherhood said it is making strenuous efforts to drive junta troops out of Chin State, as it congratulated the Three Brotherhood Alliance and allies on their seizure of the military’s Northeastern Command in northern Shan State.

The brotherhood, which includes the Zomi Federal Union, Chin National Organization, Mindat Chin National Council, Maraland and Kampelet Chin Defense Forces (CDF), and Matupi CDF Brigade 1, has been fighting the regime in Chin State.

In its Monday statement, the Chin Brotherhood said it is proud that the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and allies captured the Northeastern Command based in Lashio, the capital of northern Shan State, on Saturday.

The Chin Brotherhood vowed to work together with all the anti-regime groups across the country in fighting for a federal, democratic Union with self-determination, justice, mutual respect and equality.

The alliance said it was also proud that the second phase of Operation 1027 was making advances into the Mandalay Region. It wished for peace, stability and development in towns seized by the Brotherhood Alliance.

The Chin Brotherhood seized Matupi Town in Chin State on June 29.
