The Three Brotherhood Alliance — the Arakan Army, Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) — said in a statement on January 1 that there is an urgent need for people living in the country and all revolutionary organisations fighting Myanmar’s military dictatorship to work together in order to resolve the current civil war.
The Three Brotherhood Alliance said in its statement that the dictatorship can be rooted out only if the people are united.
The statement said people are still facing much grief because of the war crimes committed by the junta.
The statement expressed that the Three Brotherhood Alliance equally empathises with and fully sympathises with the feelings of the entire war-affected population of Myanmar due to the current internal conflict, including both political and military instability, caused by the coup.
The Three Brotherhood Alliance has received public support from the revolutionary organisations born out of the Spring Revolution, and will continue to do the right things, working with some revolutionary organisations to fulfil the common goals expected by all of them and the people of Myanmar, to best overcome the current situation, and to fight against the military dictatorship, the statement reads.
The Three Brotherhood Alliance said they would like to encourage and comfort the people of Myanmar and wish them all the best for the fulfilment of their political aspirations on the occasion of the 2023 New Year.
