Bomb blast in Maungdaw kills police and leaves three injured
The accidental explosion of a bomb that occurred near the Taung Pyo (Right) bridge, killed police and left three others injured, an official from No. (1) Border Guard Force said.

The accidental explosion of a bomb that occurred near the Taung Pyo (Right) bridge, killed police and left three others injured, an official from No. (1) Border Guard Force said.
Two vehicles from the No. (1) Border Guard Force were heading to Maungdaw to withdraw salaries and pick up provisions for the Border Guard Force from No (1) and (2) regions. A police constable accompanied the vehicles for security. The vehicles were carrying three bombs, one accidentally detonated during the journey.
The bodies of the police and the injured were taken to Maungdaw hospital where injured police have been provided medical treatment.
