The Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) office in Maungdaw Town, Arakan State, was burgled recently and pharmaceuticals were stolen, according to residents.
One Maungdaw resident accused junta soldiers and Muslim conscripts of being responsible for the burglary of the MRCS office, located in Maungdaw's No. 4 Ward.
"Junta soldiers and Muslim conscripts have been on a stealing spree. They break into empty houses. They also burgled the MRCS office and took all the pharmaceuticals. They are doing as they please," he said.
An official of the MRCS in Arakan State posted on Facebook that the office in Maungdaw was burgled. He did not, however, say who was responsible for the theft. DMG was unable to contact MRCS staff for comment.

Fighting was also fierce on Tuesday as the Arakkha Army (AA) continued to attack Border Guard Police Battalion No. 5 in Maungdaw's Myo Thu Gyi Ward, according to another Maungdaw resident.
"I heard artillery. There are people still trapped in the town. Junta soldiers arrest them on sight," he said.
Junta troops and Muslim conscripts have also been accused of looting a World Food Programme (WFP) warehouse in Waithali Village, Maungdaw Township, and setting fire to the building on June 21, allegations the regime has denied.
