The Humanitarian and Development Cooperation Office (HDCO) under the United League of Arakan (ULA), the political wing of the Arakan Army (AA), released the figures in a statement on October 25.
According to the HDCO, 443 people were killed and 1,015 injured in junta airstrikes during the period.
Among the dead were 375 children under the age of 18, accounting for 18 percent of total fatalities. Most of the victims were Arakanese, but the dead also included members of the Muslim, Maramargyi, Hindu, Khami and Thet communities.
The military regime has continued air and artillery attacks on AA-controlled townships in Arakan State in recent days, resulting in more civilian casualties.
Between October 24 and 27, the junta carried out aerial bombardments and artillery shelling in Thandwe, Taungup, Ann, Kyaukphyu and Ponnagyun townships, killing one civilian and injuring four others.
