Eight out of ten suspects allegedly involved in the attack on a Navy tugboat near Sat Yoe Kya Bridge in Arakan State’s capital Sittwe have been released after a police interrogation, but two of the accused have been charged for leaving Myanmar illegally.

The humanitarian aid for IDPs in Arakan State has been diminishing due to the ongoing skirmishes between the Tatmadaw and the AA, relief aid workers said.

A fight yesterday between the Tatmadaw and the AA resulted in a Muslim boy from Sin Thay Byin village receiving injuries, his father told the DMG.
